Place banners and links on your site and again, keep getting more visitors. And don’t scare your members with many banners all around, keep it simple.)

That will definitely work. Online dating is probably one of the hottest websites and it will never cool down. Just get a dating website setup, design your template, drive traffic, put up some ad (adsense), sit back and see your revenue coming in. To get started could be hard, but don’t give up so fast.

Adsense did wonders to my website, but it’s the traffic that you want. I have a free dating site as well and my current adsense earning is around 1-2 dollars….sigh.
I am currently using adsense. I know nobody knows the answer to this, but I can’t help but thinking that the big G might actually show favoritism in the ranks for a site that they are actually making money from. I currently make about 30 – 33 cents a click (end of month average). Last month I made over $388 for a site that is totally free. Of course all this money is spent again on my server and on additional advertising (adwords).
Hopefully one day I will have some left over at the end of the month for myself.

It takes a lot of time, effort and sweat to work your way up in google for a worthy keyword(s). Most dating websites never make it because they rely on PPC and other forms of advertising for their exposure. Organic search ranking is necessary over the long haul.
