I must say that huge amount of dating traffic comes through dating directories. There are many types of them. Top lists, international dating directories, with direct links and redirecting links, sorted and unsorted, free and paid and so on.

What could we do with them?

Well, below you will find a list of more than hundred dating directories. What will you do with them? You may add your dating site to all of them, then sit back and relax.) Well, good choice, but I doubt you may get much more visitors than you have already. Read some tips on doing that right.

1. Begin from directories with higher PageRank. Usually such directories will approve your site in two weeks or even month)) So, you may save some time and get a good backlink much sooner.
2. Be aware of directories and top lists with redirect links. Such links are not counted by search engines. You may add your link, but then you need to control. Read next tip))
3. Control your links from directories. These are two main questions you should answer every month. Do I get traffic from that directory? Is my listing indexed by Google and other SE?
   If you do not get traffic from some “redirect” top list, even if you send good amount of traffic to that list – delete that link. It’s not worth it!
4. Avoid adding your site to directories with adult content. Check if the site is not banned from Google. It is not really important if this directory will link to you. It is more important that you will link to that site, and that site should have clear reputation.
5. Avoid adding your site to link farms: uncategorized listing, adult banners, awful design, PR0, not working links. And again avoid link to such sites from your dating site.
